First up, deciding an IB school should only based on the subjects, not the level. Why? Because literally no university really gives a shit about IB (except shit-tier), except that you "stand out" have 6/7's in your highers and have an overall good grade (they usually don't even know the IB system so they just ask for 39+ unless shit-tier). Judging by this post, you're either 15/16 years old and can't make logical decisions by yourself, so I'm going to let you off on that. What really matters is university, and the fact that you get in. As long as your school offers an IB program, it doesn't matter what's considered "lower academics", as long as you're not buttfuck retarded and can't get yourself through a "surface level" education that serves as an "introduction" to university level courses. The only thing that you should find remotely challenging is higher level maths, and if you don't, just do further maths higher level (just a bunch of options that are easier than the core). In conclusion, if you're going for "computer, chemical or mechanical" then the school with computer science seems to be the good option, however I don't undestand why you would do maths SL there instead of HL? Psychology will get you nowhere (especially at IB level where its babby tier as fuck). Go to the school with comp sci and take:

HL:
Maths
Physics
Computer science
SL:
Chemistry
English
Psychology (if you're into this kind of stuff, if not then just take spanish B).

Why listen to me? I've gone through the IB and I know it's full of shit.

There is no viability of the hypothesis. M-theory and string theory aren't even considered proper science.

Yes, but math is different then science. And an experimentalist is differnt from a theorist. You can teach yourself theory (or math), and go very very far in the world, as long as you really know your shit.

A Theorist/mathmatican (most of them) don't need acess to fancy labs or equipment, etc. Even the most advanced mathematics (most) is truely something that you can do from your backyard or home, and takes no more then your own willingness and intellect.

Inventing somthing in Math/theory isn't the same thing as "inventing somthing physical", like a wormhole, or free-energy device.

Basic examples of things which can go faster than the speed of light include: shadows, beams of light.

If you project a shadow of your finger using a nearby lamp onto a far away wall and then wag your finger, the shadow will move much faster than your finger. If your finger moves parallel to the wall, the speed will be multiplied by a factor D/d where d is the distance from the lamp to your finger and D is the distance from the lamp to the wall. It can actually be much faster than this if the wall is at some oblique angle. If the wall is very far away the movement of the shadow will be delayed because of the time it takes light to get there but its speed is still amplified by the same ratio. The speed of a shadow is therefore not restricted to be less than the speed of light.

Point a laser at the moon, and move the spot.
"The spot" of a laser which is pointed at the surface of the moon is not restricted to move less the the speed of light. Likewise "The beam of light" from a pulsar can sweep across a dust cloud can also move faster then the speed of light.

Sure, that is basic Solid State Physics (undergrad shit).

All you need to do is calculate the "resonance frequencies" of the object in question. If you are able to vibrate the object to match a certain resonance frequency, it may tear itself apparent (eventually). This shit has happens all the time, and the physics is pretty fucking trivial.

Never heard of him before.
He looks like a cool dude, he has done some pretty good science, and won a few teaching awards.

Looks like he has a real knack for teaching, meaning he probably know his shit on a very deep fundemental level.
