Are there any places online where people with a graduate degree can meet each other and work on a scientific publication together? It would be a plus if that place would have Wikipedia-style discussion pages, and not force users to engage in instant messaging.

Should I sell my telescope? It's a pretty big one. You can see Saturn's rings, its surface texture, and shit with it pretty well. You can also see some surface details of Mars. Venus appears like a bright crescent, with grey/bluish surface.
I used to use it in my teens a lot, as I was very interested in astronomy and stuff back then.

I'm in my 20ies and go to college now, and I haven't used it for a while. Should I sell it? Maybe I should sell it - I could buy another, better telescope with the money from selling it, once I graduate and get a proper job.

What would /sci/ do?

I'm a graduate who often has some good ideas for publications, but is too dumb to actually carry out any literature review and perform proper research and problem solving needed to formulate, test and implement these ideas.

Are there any websites where I could simply post my ideas and thoughts related to some field of research? Something which isn't /sci/ and would actually stay there for as long as possible. Also, it should be possible to post very short ideas, without much description.

When one has earned some degree, can they go to another university and continue studying just as if they earned a degree from the new university?

I'm asking because I've earned a bachelor's in computer science, and I want to move to another university where they offer the study of artificial intelligence as a master's specialization. Would I be able to go to that new university while preserving my degree?
Sorry if that's a dumb question.
