Don't listen to any of it.

As long as you remain consistent in your approach, you won't lose any grades, because you will get the same results.

A positive charge flows from high potential to low. Current is defined in the direction a positive charge would flow.

Electrons, being negative charge, behave opposite to that.

In a circuit, we see that the positive terminal has high potential, and positive charge moves away from this (since it is repelled) while a negatively charged electron would flow toward the positive terminal.

Fucking Benjamin Franklin.

there is no actual closest number to 1.

But you may define different limits approaching 1.

For example:

Lim sin(x) / x
x-> 0

You may define an infinite amount of functions whose limits approach 1 at different rates.

it's written misleadingly on purpose.
maths is still universal, there's a right way and a wrong way to approach it.
PEMDAS, and always read left to right on equal priority.

Is chemistry hard or soft science?

From what I gather, there are only two TRUE fields of science according to /sci/ - physics and mathematics.
