Except anon, just as their is no way of proving that your consciousness exists, there's no way of proving that the reality that you're experiencing "exists" relatively in another consciousness state.

When you're dreaming, you're in another reality; if you go into a coma, you'll never return to this reality and that will be your "reality" for the entirety of your bodily existence on that plane; though you'll have no idea how much relative time passes between the "realities". It's a metaphysical premise as basic as "I think therefore I am". You have no idea how "real" what your consciousness expirences, you simply know that you exist. That's all you can really prove; scientific observation of your reality's manifestations don't change this fundamental metaphysical implication.
