I always believed that drugs can really be "awakening" sometimes. When you take a drug there are more connections in certain areas and loss of connections in others in the brain. Any sort of "click" you get from drugs, that in the end makes you happier is always good,some ideas or connections can't really figured out so easily when sober.

And by awakenings I mean more in the philosophical sense or "how should i live my life" not like you figured out god or other hippie pseudoscience bullshit(aliens mannn)

Of course responsibility and moderation is key
