Hey /sci/,
My speech is horrible, I often forget what I want to say, confuse words and meanings. I feel I have to translate my thoughts into words every time I speak.
I also sometimes stutter. What's that sci? How can I fix it?
I am far from being autistic and dyslexic and I don't have Asperger's.
I ask you sci because adv wasn't any help.

Let's discuss consciousness.

Say that we have invented a machine that allows human teleportation. Now, the simplest idea is that it makes a map of every single particle that your body is made of, destroys the fuck out of you, and sends all the data to a receiver, where your body is rebuilt.

I see no reason why that would work. Clearly, the original you is destroyed and thus you are dead. Your consciousness wouldn't magically travel to the other body. The copy would be absolutely sure that he's been successfully teleported, while you would be absolutely sure that you are fucking dead.

If the consciousness transfer actually worked, if someone cloned you you would be able to control two bodies simultaneously. WHICH IS LIKE WAT
