What's a good way to transform a dataset between 0 and 1 such that every decimal comes closer to the extreme. e.g. 0.8 -> 0.9 and 0.2 -> 0.1?

I know compsci isn't science or math, but i have a python question

if the __repr__ method can only return a string, is there a method that i can use to return a non_string when calling an object directly (e.g. print(a) returning [1,2,3]) without having to use something like (print(a.value))

e.g.
class uberlist:
__init__(self, a_list):
self.value = a_list
__NOTrepr__(self):
return self.value

a = uberlist([1,2,3])
print(a)

>>>[1,2,3]

at first I thought that was pretty crazy but i think i agree with >>11721514 , I would have interpreted bringing it up as left-wing attention seeking and i'm bi
kindof like when women bring up being single moms, do you want a cookie?
that being said if it comes up naturally then interpreting it as attention seeking is out of line.
