You can even do an evolution experiment at home!
1) Get a petri dish with agar.
2) Put bacteria on the petri dish
3) Wait for large bacteria colonies to form
4) Spray them with an antibiotic.
5) Wait a while. If you aren't extremely unlucky, a new colony should have started to form
6) Spray the antibiotic on the new colony.
7) Does the colony still die, or has it evolved?
