yeah but in that case they literally build a skyscraper on top of it, in this case they put a steel plate which is probably heavy, but I would assume nowhere near as heavy as a skyscraper
the mount is already resting on pilings, so this slab will only have to support the steel plate (and the water in the deluge system)
won't the concrete still continue curing beneath the plate? You will probably need a very well cured slab when you actually launch (which you have like 2.6m thick slab with a lot of pilings), but just to install the plate?

a few days seems kind of optimistic, but I don't think they would need to wait a month
pic is some random curing age vs strength table and it probably depends on a lot of factors, but 40% after 3 days (which would be included within a "few") is quite a lot actually, so maybe 3 days is not impossible
