But I don't.

So here is something I picked randomly.

also, if life is common enough for them to be out there, and we haven't been visited by them yet, then 1 either space is toooo fucking huge to ever hope to contact them or 2 theres something inevitably self destructive (weapons > space travel) about social creatures, and one day, before we embark on our quest to find aliens, we'll destroy ourselves.

read it somewhere once

Ok, so I'm not a mathematician and as a result, I'm having trouble coming up with the best strategy to beat this casino game. Was hoping /sci/ could help.

At my local casino, there's a money wheel game with 52 panels on it. On each panel is one of six numbers. These numbers correspond to the payout you would get if you pick that panel. The panel break down is as follows:

24x 1
12x 3
8x 5
4x 11
2x 23
1x green 47
1x blue 47

So I ask you, what is the best strategy to minimize losses and maximize winnings for this game? The best I have come up with is putting equal money on the 3s, 5s, and 11s because this way, you cover almost 50% of the board and have the potential to win bigger than 3-1. Is there a better strategy?

Pic not related.

Dear /sci/

I have a question. Say you have a video stream, and you have the total amount viewer minutes accumulated over a series of days If you divide the amount of minutes by the total days, you'd get the average amount of viewer minutes per day right?

Secondly, if you take the average amount of viewer minutes per day and divide it by the amount of minutes in a day, would that give you the average amount of viewers per day?

Thank you kindly,

in return: something science related
