As an engineering major about to finish my 'second' year (I'm a bit behind, chose engineering late)

And for the past few days have applied for about 20 internships so far (latest postings) across my state

My community college GPA is 3.5 and my first semester of uni right now


Is 20 enough? How many internships should I apply for?

How well can somebody self evaluate their own intelligence?

I know there have been studies that show that it's possible to accurately guess the relative IQs of men by looking at photographs of their faces, but is it possible for somebody to guess their OWN IQ, with all the ego and bias involved? Has there ever been a study on this subject?

How do I get to use as much math in physics. Some universities have "mathematical physics" as research interest of the professors but I'm not sure how one would get into this field of study. It seems that most of them are in the math departments so would one go to grad school for math, learn physics on their own and apply it during research
