/sci/ does anyone know of any good chemistry or economic book lists?

Yes, I checked the stickies. The one for math is really really good, the one for physics has two lists which are nice.

But there are none for chemistry or economics, does anyone know of any? Yes, I checked reddit, the chemistry one they have sucks balls. If anyone has any that they could link, that would be awesome. Feel free to link any in general

Stay off of /lit/. Science is a branch of philosophy, deal with it. Science is a belief system. Just like religion.

So I was recently browsing the /sci/ guide in the book section, and there were links to archived threads with nothing but dead links and nothing.

They originally had book downloads and such, and I feel left out and deprived of knowledge.

Maybe post books?

I have a "...for dummies" book on .pdf, but I do not know how to upload it.

Hey, /sci/

First off, sorry for the copy-pasta, but by the time I came back home, the previous thread had already 404'd.

So, I am studying Medicine in Heidelberg as a foreign student and am having my doubts if I should continue doing so. I had tons of motivation in the beginning, possibly wrongly exhilarated by the fact that I this was one of the best univiersities I could hope to get accepted into, but have found lately - after a year of study - that I lack any motivation to continue.

So, should I switch courses?

Hey, /sci/

Been studying Medicine for a little over a year now - in Heidelberg. Studying as a forgeigner tho, so I still got some problems with the language barrier and adaptation. Was all high&mighty at the beginning, but the more I spend studying and imagining what awaits me after I graduate, the less motivation I find to continue.

Should I switch courses?

Gimme some advice. Ty.

So here's the deal, i have about 300 pages of text that i need to understand and reproduce in about 12 hours, i realize that if i will read with words (repeating every word my eyes see into my head through the language center) there is no chance in hell i can go over it 3-4 times. So it hit me that if i could bypass the language center and get the information from only looking at the words and understanding them i would triple my reading speed to say the least. Any tips on this matter?

Can anyone recommend some really good universe books? Specifically about stuff like black holes or the beginning? Youtube videos and lectures just aren't cutting it anymore.
