man how high are you? you realize shit hits us all the time right? our pale blue dot burns most of it up before it hits the ground. like you said, there's trillions of interplanetary debris floating around out there. the likelihood of being hit by something large enough to cause an ELE is statisically inevitable, yet also statistically improbable.

we get hit about about 3 big ass objects once every million years. remember that object we believe took out the dinosaurs? they happens quite often (in earth terms), but the likelihood of being struck by one before humans kill themselves off or leave the planet is quite unlikely. so don't lose sleep over this thought.

1. I have been an alcoholic since about 16 (~6 years). Never could shake it off completely, so I still drink every few days. I smoke weed every few days too. I take Adderall when I want to get things done--schoolwork or otherwise.

2. I have drank for a really long time just due to the fact it lets out another part of myself that doesn't usually arise. I'm attracted to the confidence and social effect it has on me. I smoke weed because it's a great way to challenge your perspective of something, i.e. I am very reflective on my actions and how I come across when I'm baked. I LOVE Adderall, but I have to induce self-control when using it because I can get as many IRs as I want. Teaching yourself math and science is cool. Getting boring classwork done is cool. Staying up for 2 days is NOT cool. Eating 50 calories in 24 hours is not fucking cool either.

3. This is /sci/. Law is not scientific and is pointless and stupid--among others--to debate, just like religion. The way I feel about the laws regarding drugs (especially marijuana) reminds me of Carl Sagan. Once you devote your mind to thinking outside of the box for so long, your mind stays there along with all of its ideals. To put it less poetically, concerning yourself with silly things for a specific time period on Earth is frivolous. You have much more interesting and pertinent things to be dealing with.

I remember watching Carl Sagan talking about Flatland and the 4th dimension. This might sound kinda stupid, but:

If you could suddenly see in 4 dimensions, would it be possible to "step" into the 4th plane and simply disappear from the rest of the people who see in 3?
