There will not be space battles. Plural. If you're "fortunate", there will be one space battle. The result will be the loss of access to space for the next thousand years, as the resulting shrapnel creates a kinetic minefield that will shred every satellite in orbit.

There are currently over 10,000 pieces of tracked space debris. Half of it was from a handful of events: an anti-satellite test, two satellites colliding (which behaves almost exactly like an a-sat test), and a few upper-stage explosions. The space environment is more fragile than you might think, and won't withstand a war.

If you don't mind a whole anime series, try Planetes. One of the most realistic depictions of near-term near-Earth space culture.

The problem with space warfare is that any action at all will start the Kessler syndrome and end space exploration for centuries! Just a couple of anti-satellite tests and accidental explosions tripled the amount of space debris. All out war would turn near space into an impassable minefield,
