>virtual photon, a gluon or a W or Z boson

The gluon, W, and Z have all been found.
You technically cannot physically find the virtual photon, it would make it non virtual by defintion. But it too is "found".

A problem lies in your understanding of the "found" concept. At the subatomic scale, we do not have to physically isolate and "see" a particle for it to be considered "found". You can gather proof of existence by other means. Isolating subatomic particles is often impossibe.

This is a good book on introductory particle physics. You may need to study alittle regular physics first to be able to understand it though.

Here is a standard model book. It is used in a shit-ton of universities.

You wont understand it though, unless you already know basic physics.
