anon that is about to go to uni here

using KA i found that what he taught was too basic. I didn't feel like I could retain something I learned over a computer screen. I bought some textbooks and suddenly I was able to work perfectly fine. It was in-depth. I didn't have to look at a computer screen. I could physically see my progress and easily just flip a page and go back to something I didn't understand well. One study that I read said that we read computer screens in an "F" pattern while in physical text on paper we read normally. Something is weird about learning on the computer, at least for me. I can't do it reliably. KA just isn't detailed, either. It's fine as a supplement. There is a reason that the KA section for Algebra is like 100 videos while my college algebra textbook I used to get ready for uni was like 700 pages

I have been tested by several psychologists to have an IQ ranging from 140-145. I recognize that I would not be as eccentric, lets say, if I had an average IQ.

I don't think that I am smart or hardworking but that's just the silent rule that you need to follow in order to do anything great. I am constantly critiquing myself and as a result am extremely psychosomatic and my eccentricities sometimes make me feel insecure.

I can't directly tell you, but you can deduce for yourself my answer. I do feel that you need think in a certain way that just isn't teachable. You either have a knack to critically break down problems or you don't.

I don't see how you could deduce this. I wear an ear-muff that will allow me to study in silence. Sounds during study are absolutely counter-productive to me.
