We're all in a group working under one of the professors here. One of the 4th years in our group is presenting a poster for his own project at the conference and a couple of us (along with the professor) are going with him.

Oh I know all about the cocaine and the wild science orgies and all that... but we're gonna be there a week and I'm curious to know what my other options are. They haven't released any kind of list of events or anything yet.

I know we'll be spending most of the first day at our poster, and I'm sure there'll be some presentations and panels and stuff, but I've never been to a convention like this before so I'm curious to hear from people who have been.
