I think PHYSICS even though I'm a biology guy.

The 'named' taxons will probably be abandoned as genetic research reveals more resolution, but taxonomy itself is everything that biology is based on. It <span class="math">is[/spoiler] evolution (or at least our best guess at how it worked out).

Can it be a non-primary source?:

I love learning things, too, but you have to understand that you'll learn things that will make you sad. Sometimes you'll learn how to make those things better, but other times you'll have to find the answer for yourself. Learning is always a good thing, though.

Go for it.

I hate the vocal minority that the media insists on waving around for the rest of the world to see. I'm from freakin' Southeast Texas originally and NO ONE there was a psychotic bigot (well, I heard Vidor was full of them, but that's a whole different issue). Most people here are like people everywhere else. Don't trust what yo see on the internet or on television.

(Still, I kinda want to move to Europe just to avoid the volatile political atmosphere here. Is it any better there, though?)

That's fine, but making another thread to discuss it doesn't help anything. The only way to fix it is to not respond to it at all. I mean, it's fine that you want to let people know that they're being ridiculous and that this isn't the place for that discussion, but making a whole other thread about it really doesn't help.

I just do.
Why do people like their favorite color?

Plus, the more you learn about something, the more awesome it seems.

Yeah, I thought about that, but with insects the populations are so big that you may risk a big fat zero on recapture counts. You'd have to tag a large number of insects to even put a dent in it. Still, it would definitely work if you can pull it off.
