For the last fucking time. There is no such thing as "physical addiction" and "metal/psychological addition". There is only addiction, which is PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPENDENCY.

> Implying advanced alien races would make strawmens

As soon as shit gets American-time, there's threads on /sci/ hating on environmentalists and anti-consumerists.

Isn't this pretty fucking retarded, since the political parties who want to spend more money on new technologies are the green ones? Isn't it fucking retarded to, on /sci/ of all places, oppose people who want to drive technology way ahead of where we are now?

tl;dr: men are most attracted to smiling, happy women; women most attracted to brooding, ashamed men. can anyone explain this shit from an evolutionary perspective? we all know happy people live longer, healthier lives. so are women unconciously attracted to unhappy men because they can inherit their fortune sooner or something?

This is by far one of the stupidest posts I've read on /sci/ in a while.

The reason why most people on /sci/ don't think it's a science is because most people on /sci/ don't know shit about science.

You don't find parts of scientific stuff lying around, it's the study itself that makes it scientific. You're a bad person, and you should feel bad.

While on it, psychology is a science, and it baffles me how anyone could say anything else.
