yeh, this works out
inverse tan 3/4 to find the angle (its 36.87)
then add the force vectors of the weight and the pushing force to find the reaction force.

first lets balance this bitch!
<span class="math"> 2Na3PO4 + 3Ba(NO3)2 --> 6NaNO3 + Ba3(PO4)2 [/spoiler]
now, lets see which is the limiting factor
R1: 3.5/328 = 0.01067...
R2: 6.4/783 = 0.00817...
so R2 is the limiting factor

602X0.00817 = 4.92 grams

anyone else get that?
I havent done this in years, so if i'm wrong, lets have a little less of the "hurr durr, EK are fucking retarded" please, i'd actually like to learn the correct method, if im approaching this wrong.

sexual selection happens because of natural selection. consider 2 individuals, one that plays by it, and one who doesnt.

the one who chooses carefully, and chooses a strong healthy disease free mate will sire offspring who inherit these traits, and are strong, and healthy and easily capable of surviving.

one who doesnt play for it picks a shit mate, scraggly as fuck, disease ridden, will probably be killed by a predator or die young of disease/parasites.
its offspring will be fucking retarded and scraggly as fuck, and your genetic line will probably die out.

those who chose carefully have a strong genetic line, and will continue to be strong and keep existing and breeding.

it's self fortifying as well. you are inclined to choose carefully because of your good genes, and these same genes for careful selection process are also passed on.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_and_soft_science
"Hard science and soft science are colloquial terms often used when comparing scientific fields of academic research or scholarship, with hard meaning perceived as being more scientific, rigorous, or accurate. Fields of the natural, physical, and computing sciences are often described as hard, while the social sciences and similar fields are often described as soft"

Hard sciences:
Physics, chemistry, biology etc.
(protip, people who say biology is not a hard science are trolls)

in your analogy of the tall person applying to join the basketball team, its perfectly reasonable for an intelligent person to show off their intelligence at a job interview, or an application to a university. if you just randomly brag about being really intelligent, then obviously you are gonna piss people off by being so arrogant.
by trying to elevate yourself, by comparison you are putting everyone else down, whichever people you are with/whoever you are bragging to.
people tend not to like that.

ah, sorry i forgot to mention.
same rules as before apply, so kings and queens are not allowed (actually, i will allow kings, they move slowly anyway)
queens are not allowed, as they negate the necessity of rook/bishop transformations.

true, but a knight can not cross large distances quickly, and it is difficult to finish wit ha knight without mutating, which wastes another 2 moves.

Due to extensive research done by the University of Pittsburgh, diamond has been confirmed as the hardest metal known to man. The research is as follows. Pocket-protected scientists built a wall of iron and crashed a diamond car into it at 400 miles per hour, and the car was unharmed. They then built a wall out of diamond and crashed a car made of iron moving at 400 miles an hour into the wall, and the wall came out fine. They then crashed a diamond car made of 400 miles per hour into a wall, and there were no survivors. They crashed 400 miles per hour into a diamond traveling at iron car. Western New York was powerless for hours. They rammed a wall of metal into a 400 mile per hour made of diamond, and the resulting explosion shifted the earth's orbit 400 million miles away from the sun, saving the earth from a meteor the size of a small Washington suburb that was hurtling towards mid-western Prussia at 400 billion miles per hour. They shot a diamond made of iron at a car moving at 400 walls per hour, and as a result caused two wayward airplanes to lose track of their bearings, and make a fatal crash with two buildings in downtown New York. They spun 400 miles at diamond into iron per wall. The results were inconclusive. Finally, they placed 400 diamonds per hour in front of a car made of wall traveling at miles per iron, and the result proved without a doubt that diamonds were the hardest metal of all time, if not just the hardest metal known to man.

it isnt a vid, but it is pretty cool.
use the scrollbar at the bottom to scroll all the way from plank lnegth to the length of the universe, with significant sizes of things in between.
