If you were to hook up a fan to an external device providing electricity (like a wall outlet) and aim it at a wind power turbine, and then unplug the fan, and plug it into the wind power turbine, would the fan be powering itself?

Question: With the amount of jobs lost in the U.S. and the ever-increasing greenhouse problem, why don't we spend 10 years demolishing coal burning plants and replacing them with wind farms/solar panels/clean energy. It'd make millions of jobs and save the environment at the same time. On the business end companies could make boat loads of cash exporting power to other countries like Mexico and Canada.
