If I'm standing up straight, holding a bowl of water in front of me with my arms locked (such that the bowl remains a constant distance from my body and the ground), and I spin in a circle, why does the water in the bowl spin? If I spin counter-clockwise, the liquid spins clockwise, and if I spin clockwise the liquid spins counter-clockwise.

the thing that has worked for me and always works is you have to work on your confidence and always ALWAYS smile and never pass up a conversation. you have to look approachable, smiling helps that. girls look for someone stable and strong, if you hold your head high, pull your shoulders back and smile then girls will not look so awkward when you talk to them.
when you talk dont practice what your going to say, just talk. if you cant think of anything then just talk about the most recent major event to have in the area or your country.
and confidence takes practice, the best rule i can tell you is to not size yourself up against other guys, because you will naturally pick yourself apart in comparison.
finally go out, find a style you like and go with it, it can be anything as long as you like how it looks on you. that means new hair style and new clothes.
'hope it helps OP

I have a question relating to materiel science and heavily related to the study of physics, well, sorta.

I moved into a new apartment recently and I am going to get a blackboard for my living room, I realize there are 2 types, melamine and porcelain. Porcelain is more expensive, last longer because it's durable, and is magnetic. Melamine is not as durable, cheaper, not magnetic.

However, I have no idea what chalk boards I used back at my old university, I don't know if they're melamine or porcelain but I know that there is a type of chalk board that is just unpleasant to write on and a type that is extremely wonderful.

maybe you guys would have an idea which one I mean.

I hope you guys can be helpful.

>But to draw more crowds, they always needed newer and bigger dinosaurs - a ploy which continues even to this day. Ultrasaurus, Spinosaurus, ...Argentinosaurus anyone? Sometimes, just like any product, they rework the original design slightly to give the public something new. For instance, in the 80s the bronotsaurs was revamped into the Apatosaurus. Dinosaurs were no longer slow reptiles, but fast, intelligent, warm-blooded animals! ..and now.. they aren't covered in scales anymore, oh no, now they are covered in pretty feathers! I'm sure the girls will like that! A new demographic to market to overnight!

And suddenly, stuff like this actually makes sense now.
