the post you replied to was my first, and I'm not part of any "guys" you nutjob. we know for a fact that it isn't genetic. the genetics of athletic groups don't differ from non athletic groups across all of our arbitrary races, because we don't group races by athletic ability, because race is socially constructed. we know this for a fact, so now I know you're a crank without question and will ignore you, just as the scientific community ignores kooks and crazy people. You said things that go directly against what we know, so no reason to take you seriously.

mathematicians
>know the answer but don't know how to solve the problem
scientists
>know how to solve the problem but don't know what the answer is

soft sciences but it's because it's so complex that getting anything done at all is very hard.
In the 21st century, physics hasn't been doing a whole lot. we have been engineering improvements on what we already know about. Physics/math guys did so much in the early 20th century that the engineering guys have had decades of work to do.
if were talking about any field at all, finance and economics and politics has been extremely disgusting and unhelpful i guess(more so just unlikable) but it's not sci related so who cares.

I used to defend engineering, but I don't anymore. it's one of the dumbest majors to choose. you never truly learn math or science. you spend your entire degree solving high volumes of tedious problems to show whether or not you'll be a good, obedient EMPLOYEE. you do nothing like this in math and science degrees. there is none of this cock sucking going on. Engineering doesn't make you think hard about anything. there is no big puzzle to solve. there is no beauty in it. it is all rote memorisation. math and science guys can do engineering if they learn the programs(AutoCAD etc) but engineers would have to learn a whole lot to even try to be a physicist, chemist, or mathematician. the money isn't good either. you're working 50 hour weeks for like $1,000 per week. before or after taxes depending in how far in you are, and anyone citing some jobs where you make $100,000 starting don't want to admit that the COL in those areas allow you to save close to nothing and work even harder. Spending your life doing this, what a dumb shame.
