How can I get good at math? Whenever I try to sit down and work on anything more complicated than basic algebra my mind just goes blank. I had to cheat my way through high school.

We already have ArcGIS 10.3 at school and the teacher gives us exercises/projects to do every week on it too so I should be ok with the practice, I was really looking for something more for the theory aspect

But those big arcGIS books are pretty expensive I can't afford them

I want to like science. But studying it is boring. Sometimes I do feel that spark, but then I look back and wonder why I would feel that way over something so boring.

How do you force yourself to study something that is boring?
