The primary lesson one should take away from college is that is that college is a scam. Nearly everything you do in a college you can do for yourself. And Lecture is especially useless with mathematics. I stopped attending classes in ODEs when I realized I got more sitting down and working from the book for an hour then I did from listening to some frothing fat fuck from non-English speaking country #23 with an atrocious accent. Showed up for the tests, Bs became As and unless attendance was mandatory, showed up for Day 1, test days and finals day (that's ignoring the brief pop in to drop off homework every now when it was due then dipped out) and repeated with every other math course until I got my Bachelors of Science in Math. Math professors are a waste of your time and your tuition money.
