The half-life of the radioactive isotope Carbon-14 is about 5730 years.

The amount of a radioactive element A at time t is given by the formula
A(t) = A0ekt,
where A0 is the initial amount of the element and k < 0 is the constant of proportionality which satisfies the equation
(instantaneous rate of change A(t) at time t) = kA(t).

Use the formula given above to express the amount of Carbon-14 left from an initial N milligrams as a function of time t in years. (Round k to six decimal places.)
A(t) = mg

BTW there's only six problems, which is why they are worth so much. pic related, it's my brain on math.

ok heres what you do op.

first you mix it with sodium hydroxide. this is a strong base and converts it to salt form so that it dissolves in water and leaves the plant matter.
next add an equal amount of bleach. bleach contains hypochloric acid to neutralize the base and return the alkaloid salt to its freebase form.

also make sure you do this in a dark place, like your garage with the door closed and only one light on. otherwise youll lose most of your product

skim the alkaloids off the top and enjoy

I'm going to get in an argument with a computer science elitist who works for a shitty PC repair company this afternoon. He installed Norton Antivirus on my mom's network and bogged the entire thing down to a snails pace. I plan on uninstalling it and putting either AVG or Malwarebytes (free ones) on instead.

Can someone please explain, in detail from a technological standpoint, why exactly Norton is such a waste of time, money, and resources? The computer guy is going to come back to try to "speed up" (lol) the network and I want to confront him about why he made my mom pay for Norton in the first place.

Any and all arguments pertaining to why Norton sucks from a realistic standpoint are much appreciated.
