It is all done with group theory and gauge theory, like most of the standard model.

It also isn't confirmed. Supersymmetery seeks to unify the strong force with the electroweak, but we are actually really fucking far off from that shit. The electroweak unification actually isn't complete yet (still hypothetical on a fundmental level).

Why do you keep assuming I'm a troll?

Sorry to burst your bubble kid.

"Isolated systems can exchange neither matter nor energy with their surroundings, and as such are only theoretical and do not exist in reality (except, possibly, the entire universe)."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isolated_system

The problem is you assume Stat physics provides fundemental laws of physics, that can be applied to everything. This is not the case.
Stat physics: "average properties" and "general appromixations" of a large system. It is "limited" in it range of validity, and only applicable to very specific systems.

You really don't need much chemisty (other the the basic 101 and 102) for physics. Unless you plan on doing some kind of condensed matter physics, you should be fine. And even if you do condended matter, you will only need to know a very very specific field part of chemistry, which you will usually be taught by your supervisors or the relavent chemists at your university.

In short, dont worry about chem. Math is way more important to a physicst.

And I already said the only assmption you need are symmetery and units....DURRRRRR. Its not my fucking fault that Anon is too fucking retarded to understand.

Everything needs assumptions though, even pure mathematics. The goal of science or math isnt to eliminate assumptions (as was proven impossible), it is to axomize your systems to as few assumtpions as possible. Look up ZFC dumsbhit!

Yeah, for MS programs you have to write a thesis, and publish a few papers in scientific journals. At least at good schools.
I don't see what is so funny about that?

Well they should be the same. Most large scale phenomina should be derived from small scale shit. This actually works for most things but not all. The problems is we are still missing alot of small scale physics. So we cant derive all the large scale shit.

We end up with an incomplete picture of the universe. Hopefully one day we will be able to fix this.
