With an SRBee core and propanos 2nd stage that might work. It'd be incredibly shitty and functionally equivalent to a garage built ICBM fueled by beeswax, propane, and auto boost kits, but I think the dV is there for a small enough payload.

I have had an IDEA.
>take SLS Block 1
>rip off everything placed on top of Orange Tank
>replace it with a big comfy hab module, with a Dreamchaser and a LAS for the crew to sit in at launch time
>replace the RS-25s with pulsed NTR engines using grooved carbide HALEU cermet fuel elements, and some radiators
>this might actually save money thanks to Aerojew Shekeldyne's ridiculous bullshit
>add another segment to the SRBs to keep the TWR over 1
>do a Grand Tour of the Inner System (Mars, Belt, Venus, Earth return) with crew along for the ride
>carry a pair of landers for flags and footprints on Mars and Ceres
>dock at the ISS on return to LEO

>in the future there will be /k/ommandos painting anime waifus on their crew served weapons to rain death on people as orbital artillery on low gravity worlds
>the gunners will be equipped with 4ASS brand escape systems certified to probably work kinda maybe if you thump it twice
The future is bright.

Build rockets.
Design rockets.
Design payloads.
Plan missions.
Read SMAD.
Play KSP.

That's what the RPi compute module is for. You have one SODIMM interface for everything and the module can be screwed in place.

4ASS prides itself on taking stupid ideas and posts seriously.

Depends on how easy it would be to make those things. IMO, 4ASS should be more focused on making landers rovers and other spacecraft to be sent up by commercial launches rather than try to make its own launchers.

I do wish the Ares 1 had worked just for the meme value of using a giant SRB to put people in orbit. Crew Conestoga when?

The Pepe 1 rocket could use a cluster of seven identical solid boosters fired in a 4-2-1 sequence for the booster stage. A pseudo hypergolic upper stage using ethanol+nitrous oxide (or hydrogen peroxide) would carry the payload to LEO. A second launch containing a refueling spacecraft will be sent to refuel the upper-stage with booze and laughing gas for the trip to the moon. Repeated launches would be done until the lander mission is assembled in a stable region of low lunar orbits to dab on Gateway.

I haven't done the math yet, but it seems feasible.
