There are different groups in latin america so you'll have to be more specific. They are mixed. Again continuum fallacy. Nature is messy, same can be said for categories such as subspecies or even species.

A useful category that can be used as a predictor. Race is more resolved than considering humans as a whole, but less resolved than nations. This is useful for large regional trends (Africa will never maintain the standard of living of the west no matter how much money we pump in, middle easterners are more likely to inbreed, native americans are more likely to get hooked on drugs, far east nations will be more authoritarian)
