I feel like this board is filled with some deluded people. Let me spell it out: You're either doing research in one of the hard sciences or you are most likely doing an unintellectual stamp collecting job. There is no such thing as half an intellectual. Everybody is either a monkey pushing and pulling levers or an intellectual who designs the levers and whatever's under the metal. Nobody in the engineering industry, for example, is doing intellectual work.

The time to laugh at someone isn't if they're doing a monkey level job, it's when they are deluded about what they're doing. The laughable attributes of engineers are twofold. They think that they earn a lot of money and they think that they do intellectual work. The reality is that engineering students are mainly lower class people who have never heard of investment banking, management consultancy, they would never dream of entering politics (all of these are because they don't go to universities with good enough reputations, where these careers are marketed). So they go in to their careers thinking that anything with numbers is intellectual and that they're earning a lot ("because surely the guys who use number are getting paid a lot, right?").

This sort of narrow minded person doesn't do a lot of thinking about what society rewards. They don't do a lot of thinking about what career paths make money. They think that overcoming Calc 2 will lead to riches. The truth is that engineering is acknowledged as an industry with a low level of pay.

Where are all the people with IQs below 100? There seems to be more people on the internet willing to admit they have below average length dicks than below average IQs.

>inb4 OP

I would bet my non-existent house that I have an IQ above 100. I have tonnes to back it up irl. I wouldn't bet so easily that I'm above 120 or whatever numbers people like to say they're at, but definitely above 100.

Do you think the prisons are inadvertently a home for almost everyone with an IQ below a certain point?
