Yea, consider this;

Einstein in terms of IQ was approximately in the top one percentile of the population.

Meaning that about one percent of humanity have the same or higher intelligence than Einstein.

With seven billion people that is about 70 million individuals, that is more than enough to maintain genetic diversity.

In fact, I remember reading some Nasa study of multi-generation spaceships that found that the bare minimum for normal breeding to maintain genetic diversity was something like 150 individuals.

We could uplift the entire human species to an average of what we now consider genius level intelligence in one generation by using the genetic material from these 70 million individuals as basis.

How come all the worlds greatest scientists, inventors, philosophers and leaders were mostly Christian?

There is a difference between soul and spirit. The soul is the connection between mind and will, it's a persons reason, how they choose to interpret existence and their own being.

Without soul there is no reason,
Without spirit there is no meaning,

In the case of spirit; we have the obvious drive, or meaning, to reproduce -- to find a partner to whom we'll create children with. We are attracted to the spirits of others.

In the case of the soul; taking into account the actual living spirit, there would be no use in reproduction if there was nothing to reproduce for. Why would we have kids if there is no reason to to the action?

The soul, or Reason, allows us all to co-exist. Without reason then we would all just kill ourselves. Be reasonable.

Hey, /sci/, you rational guise.

Why are people so irrational? I find it very difficult to discuss something with someone rationally. Of course I don't say I am always right, but I always try to back up everything with arguments and evidence, if possible. Most people don't even fucking care about it and call you names based solely on faulty assumptions.

What are your experiences with this, scifags?
