If the world is quanta, then no, there is a maximum resolution and a sphere requires infinite precision. I'm sure things like neutron stars are close, perhaps the core of Jupiter is quite close, however, like most mathematical concepts, the will forever remain as abstract concepts, that nevertheless enormously help us solve real world problems. To wit: collision detection using spheres is fast and easy, and used in robots, self driving cars, and vidya.

>Carbon capture sucks up enough CO2 that we now have the same atmospheric composition we had during the Roman empire
Boom, climate change solved. Greenhouse gas effect doesn't exist anymore. So why isn't this being championed as the perfect solution?

Find the area of the surface generated when the given curve is revolved around the y-axis.
the part of the curve y-8x-5 between the points (1,3) and (2,11)
When I did this I got 14pi*sqrt65
The correct answer is 3pi*sqrt65
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Help me /sci/ I have no one else to turn to.
