so guys,

I got accepted to grad school for physics this year. I'm super pumped to get back into academia and physics in general (fuck real world bullshit, I worked as a lab tech for electrochemists and engineers), but at the same time it's been 2 years since I actually did anything with it. I'm pretty nervous about being a non traditional student, and I know I'm going to have to work twice as hard as everyone else. anyone been in this situation? how rough was it?

tl;dr
how hard is being a non traditional student in grad school?

"i take it and have been duped by advertising into beleiving so, therefore its truueeeeee- duuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrr"

cmon bro

you can do better

also we're talking about protein powder specifically, if you want to talk about vitamin c go ahead, i'll say your 833% isnt necessary. because it is not. either way it is a supplement and not a replacement

for gods sake every cell our body makes come from food, and the majority of modern pharma comes from food/herbs/plants in nature. your small intestine is 2,700 square feet and produces stem cells for your body, its essentially the equivalent of the root system. food/diet mostly has preventative benefits from diseases and cancer but also contain the same chemicals found in pharma that your body absorbs

its not that hard to understand

Sup /sci/

Not sure if those goes here but ill give it a shot.
I was debating with someone, and at one point he pulled this strange logic.

Ill give an example. If I where to say that love of the arts have no value because they dont affect the universe as a whole, and then the person im arguing with says that if they have no value, they both have no value and value at the same time....isnt that a fallacious argument? Or just a plain stupid one?

...Kinda retarded but yeah Im sort of at a loss at how to reply to this.

Take note that that isnt what we're arguing about, but id rather not mention what we're actually arguing about. I have my reasons

If I have a few points that describe a bell curve. Is it possible to guess an equation from it?

Sort of like a bezier extrapolation or something?

I need to implement an algorithm to find the minimum distance between two bezier or NURBS curves for a computer game. Any of you smart guys know how to do that more efficiently than looping through a whole load of points?
