How do you know we aren't already holograms living in an artificial VR environment where our entire lives take a fraction of a second of a fraction of the processing power of one roboperson?

Or to put it another way, given enough processing power, and enough time, it's concievable that an AI that did nothing but simulate human lives would simulate yours exactly. According to "many worlds" interpretation this has, is, and will happened.

In other words, you could be living in two, or more simulatenous and overlapping realities that are such because they're identical at the scope that you're living at; but are different when "zoomed out".

It's ultimately rather futile, and somewhat pointless, to try to orientate yourself to outside realities, timelines, and parallel universes if you don't interact with them in any meaningful fashion.

tl:dr nothing changes the fact that you're here and now; wherever and whenever that maybe relative to everything else; and for what's it's worth.... I orientate everything else relative to myself as the center point

The funny thing about "simulation theory" is that every simulation, even following an infinite regression of simulated realities, would still be "in reality".

So, ironically, the only test/evidence of the existence of an omnipotent creator would be him/her going against and breaking the rules of any given reality, since the rules of any sub reality would be the will of a lesser creator.

Ie; the most high god would be unbounded on every level of reality.
