The antikythera mechanism was not really a computer but a eclipse-predicting clock. And the ship sank because of a storm. But it's awesome anyway.

The Antikythera mechanism is an ancient device found in a roman shipwreck. It is a very, very sophisticated piece of machinery. It used to predict lunar eclipse very accuratly. The mechanism is the oldest known complex scientific calculator. Wikipedia will tell you about it better than I'd do.

I personnaly think it's totally awesome, and incredible that the greek were so advanced. Maybe they would have spread over Europa if the romans didn't crush them first.
