So called "sciencists" from Universities of London and Dusseldorf claimed that the evolution started by chance and most probably there is no other intelligent life form in known Universe.
I just feel it's the same kind of statement to "Humanity invented everything that could be invented" - which appears every now and then starting from XIXth century.
