Isaac Newton was a panentheist, not a pantheist.

He would sooner believe that God transcended this universe, than believe that the universe is a part of God —which may very well be true, even still. He attributed gravity to God.

But to assume there is nothing outside this universe? With the existence of math? That’s an absurd.

I have studied everything this man is hailed as "Le smartest nigga ever" for, and none if it is that impressive. All of it seems just a mathematicalization of the intuitive real world. It's all really just intuition, I am sure anybody could have done it if they tried. Sure as hell confident that even high schoolers could 'invent' all that shit these days if he hadn't already done it when everybody else couldn't read.

>"skeptic"
>refuses to consider that certain phenomena may just be unexplainable or inconsistent at our present understanding
>somehow so closed minded that he thinks nothing can possibly exist that operates outside the "rules"
you can only make a discovery or a breakthrough if you're willing to toy with new ideas, even if they're considered "pseudoscience" by the lowest common denominator, who we all know to comprised of the most intelligent and creative types of people. guess which group of people cares most about profit motive too. profit is not about using the best method, but rather the easiest, cheapest, and most reliable methods.

>Newton suffered from huge ups and downs in his moods, indicating bipolar disorder, combined with psychotic tendencies. His inability to connect with people could place him on the autism spectrum. He also had a tendency to write letters filled with mad delusions, which some medical historians feel strongly indicates schizophrenia.

Is there any historical example of a great genius who was also completely normal mentally?
