Alright /sci/, I need some help here.

I've been looking into research and different theories pertaining to abiotic oil theory, peak oil, ect. ect. and none of the 'data' makes sense.

It seems there's about as much evidence backing abiotic oil theory as there is liberal warming. It just seems like a bunch of politicized nonsensical science pushed by the elite.

So help me understand this bullshit.

tl;dr scientific illiterate needs help understanding this shit from a scientific perspective, and not a political one.

There's too much unwarranted optimism in this thread. Time for a daily reminder of reality.
