Not that anon, but you are definitely that climate bedwetter. Here's the reference that smashed his little dream of an EVIL oil company conspiracy. I posted the attached pic, and he thought it was based on fake data created by an evil oil shill blog; until I showed the source of the data:

http://www1.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/paleo/icecore/greenland/summit/gisp2/isotopes/gisp2_temp_accum_alley2000.txt

Yeah, that's the NOAA. The climate bedwetter thinks that any one who doesn't believe in an unfalsifiable pseudo-science is paid off by Big Oil.
Note that the reference mentioned in the data source is the same reference as on the graph:
ORIGINAL REFERENCE: Alley, R.B. 2000.
The Younger Dryas cold interval as viewed from central Greenland.
Quaternary Science Reviews 19:213-226.

How many times am I going to have to kick your ass?

All the graphs on the right side are cherry-picked to start at about 1970. Right when the period of cooling from about 1940 ended and things started to warm up again.

As importantly, the graphs on the left ignore all the warming and cooling of the past. Instead, they are cherry-picked to start near the end of The Little Ice Age

The Medieval Warming period
The Roman Warming period
etc.

>>there hasn't been any warming for the last few decades
>Simply not true, last decade was warmest on record since reliable data is available from 19th century onwards

False, the Medieval Warming period was warmer. As was the Roman warming period, as was the Minoan warming period as was...

Speaking of cherry picking, you guys are the kings of cherry picking data.

>Is there global warming?
Not for the last 20 years.

>Is there climate change?
Of course, you moron.

>Is climate change we are currently seeing human caused?
That's the debate.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gDErDwXqhc

If you believe that modern climate change is human caused, then you must account for the past 20 years of zero temperature increases. If you believe the process is natural, then the recent jump in global temperatures is just an outlier.

People are either in one camp or the other. And the people in the former camp have far more to prove than the skeptics.
