I agree with that but that's not the essence of the "super predator" theory. Vendramini- who, full disclosure, is not a scientist but a film director- believes that neanderthals actually preyed on humans (for both food and sex) and that a lot of the physical characeristics that make humans unique from the rest of the animal kingdom evolved to help us against neanderthal predation.

It's a bit out there, especially the phyiscal description of neanderthals looking more like demented chimpanzees than humans (pic related), but I wouldn't say it's improbable either.
