Is MATLAB worth learning for a job?

Hey guys. I just into a volunteering work with a local space program.

I've been given a task to explore on converting Matlab codes into C programming. Also to learn some of Matlab software.

I have some programming experience with Java and have been working with it for several years and some web development experience as well. But I don't have Matlab nor any data science/engineer kinda work before.

So, what does Matlab have anything to do with aerospace industry? Can someone give me example of any github repo or open source projects that does so? Another thing is where and how do I start learning the aerospace engineering with Matlab/C language? Do I need a lot of mathematics equation to begin with? Or just a knowledge on how calculus work should suffice?

Just dedicate your life to pic related. Remember that numerical methods are the only methods that are truly mathematical. Ramanujen himself said that numbers were all that math was about, not stupid stuff like categorys or string theories or fuctorials.

Also, fuck imaginary numbers in the neck. Imaginary=not real, how about that for an equation.

How can I create a plot in matlab such that each column vector of the matrix represents a single point on the plot?

I need to use Matlab for an assignment and I'd like to install it on my computer instead of trekking to my uni's computing center. Will code written on one version work the same on another version?

Need some advice from the mathfags that lurk here. Im currently taking pre-calc but I haven't been in school in over 3 years and im struggling with the algebra review portion. We have a test coming up soon and I just want to know what are some good study habits you people that are good at math practice?
