I keep hearing about how the military wants to set up sensors around the Moon to spy on other spacecraft. It sounds unnecessary since there's not much going on out there, but it dawned on me that having sensors out there could double as asteroid monitoring missions. Sensors out there could help determine if people on the Moon need to take shelter before an impact occurs.
