What does /sci/ think of seasteading?

Hummanity needs to develop the skills to render habitable areas of the Earth that are currently uninhabitable for human life, notably the ocean.

Naturally, any serious seasteading project should account for the worst-case scenario sea level rise of 3 meters over the next century.

Is seasteading a viable concept in the 21st century or is it just a pipe dream?

Personally, I feel Cay Sal bank could be an excellent place to experiment with seasteading communities, preferably on the north side of the atoll as to not damage the local coral reefs. Any serious projects should be designed to compensate for a predicted sea level rise of 4 meters by 2100.
