(3/3, unless you actually suck my dick)

So if you go with design 2 which appears to be best case scenario, you have
[eqn] |\sigma_{max}|=\Bigg|\frac{M_{max}y}{I}\Bigg|\approx 265\ \text{ MPa} \\ \ \\ |\tau_{max}|=\Bigg|\frac{V_{max}Q}{It}\Bigg|\approx 40\ \text{ kPa} [/eqn]

where y, I, Q, and t represent the distance from neutral axis to the top fibers of the beam, the second moment of area of the x-section, the first moment of area of the top half of the x-section, and the thickness of the x-section at the neutral axis, respectively. Given the properties of A36 steel, you are exceeding the material's yield strength of ~250 MPa. Would not recommend.

It goes without saying that you should not believe ANYTHING I'm telling you.

I know very little about this desu but "Theory and Practice of Swirl Atomizers" by Yuriy Khavkin seems to be a source for pretty much everything you need to know
https://books.google.com/books?id=3tqWpzXLVzAC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_ge_summary_r&cad=0#v=onepage&q&f=false
good luck on finding a full copy online

remilia-anon is saying that for any polynomial [math]ax^{2n}+bx^{n}+c=0[/math] you can find the roots by simply letting [math]y=x^n[/math] and applying the quadratic formula for y. I kinda don't understand specifically what you are asking lmao.

Wildberger (based) tells the story of the fictional Little Cactus Bank from 1850 to 1860. He explains the absolute basics of how banking works and tells how the LC Bank moves from giving out traditional loans to handing out lines of credit. More to come.

something something conservative forces and state functions

Forces can be conservative (based) or nonconservative. This relates to how energy is conserved in a system involving them. Gravity and electric fields are conservative, meaning the total work performed on an object by those fields is zero if the object moves through a closed path. In other words,
[eqn]\int_C\mathbf{F}\cdot d\mathbf{r}=\mathbf{0}[/eqn]
if C is a closed loop. Equivalently,
[eqn]\nabla\times\mathbf{F}=\mathbf{0}[/eqn]
Things like friction and magnetic fields are not conservative. When you start talking about heat, you have to realize that "heat" is actually just the transfer of the kinetic energy of 10^23's of tiny little particles. You can't represent heat with a function of state, meaning you cannot exactly related it to other properties like you can with pressure or specific volume or temperature, etc. Unlike these state or "point" functions, heat cannot be expressed with an exact differential.

Maybe this made some sense, though it's probably not a satisfying answer. An actual physicist will know more, but the real answer will always just be "because just the universe just happens to work that way for God knows the reason."

What? Did you actually get raped, as in you consciously remember a rape happening? Or is this a delusion?
> I have been mostly homeless for two years and I spent most of last winter in jail for squatting in an abandoned house
The thought of Jon shivering in a cold ruined house makes me ;_;
Honestly, m8, why don't you check yourself into a loony bin? It's better than being a homeless psycho.
