/sci/ - Science & Math

hi all,

i took a long hiatus from this place for the last year or so. i think i started posting here in 2017 and then quit in early 2021.

i came back to make a troll thread but with some actual relevance, and of course i ended up lurking while watching for replies on my thread.

what i notice is that he quality here has really slid. am i the only one to notice this? what i remember from say 2019 was that /sci/ sucked because there were a bunch of bad threads and /pol/ spammers but at least there were a few good posts and threads here or there

now it’s all shit AFAICT.

i would ask: “why did this happen?” but i won’t, since i know the answer. the answer is that millennials who posted on /sci/ timed out on their welcome and now it’s retarded fucking zoomers. even Tooker is gone now.

i have to admit i was part of killing off the last generation. i participated in the effort to criticize Yukari Poster, who was in retrospect one of our last great posters. i accept partial responsibility for the decline.

but honestly anons, up your game. we should make sci great again
