Belgium is us as well.
On our side though, all engineering is a meme, and basically just a glorified applied maths degree. We have tons of hard math, but very little actual engineering skills are taught until the last year or so. For example, I'm in my second year, and about half of my class doesn't know how to code...
The people who do Civ Eng are just people who like math and want to have a piece of paper that can boost their chances of getting a job...
It's why every successful person from this school does an erasmus or finishes their studies abroad learning to apply all the stuff they learned.

Classes are good though, I just don't feel like I'm learning to be an engineer. In this sense, Civ eng in belgium is the hardest because of the very low profitability for the effort you put in.
