I'm somewhat interested in academic research carreer path, but I'd like to do Applied Physics in Energy Science. Is there as much research in that field as in pure physics?

I need homework help. This question is the only thing preventing me from moving on with the rest of my homework. It's a renewable energy class and it's on solar PVs.

2. The electricity demand for the home will be 4000kWh/yr. Calculate the peak kilowatts of PVs required .

The table I have to use to help me solve this gives me 842.0 as the Yield/kWh per kWp per year.

Please helpp!
