newfag here, i just wanna know if relativity is true or not. Mostly everyone in the world believes in it, but some people don't, if not, anyone care to explain why?

>mfw i've talked to actual engineers already in their mid career IRL
>all of them tell me that if they ever had layoffs at their company, they had job offers immediately and were working within two weeks each time
>never had no job
>all say they make easily more money than they need to be comfortable with
>EVERY SINGLE ONE tells me that their physics/maths/chemistry buddies ended up working odd jobs, very few ended up in STEM and have made little
wow
>go to their friends in physics/maths/chemistry
>all confirm that they wish they just went into engineering in the first place

yeah, go ask some people actually doing this shit IRL and it's p obvious that the engineers are fucking loaded and have nice lives compared to the science guys. the fact that /sci/ even needs this debate just furthers the disconnect from reality.

Put it this way, the engineers all had cool stories of work they were doing, places they traveled to, two of the electrical engineers had Teslas, all of them have nice cars or at least very well taken care of vehicles etc, and the science guys are living in apartments in the city, don't have cars or they do and they're POS because they don't know how to take care of them or could'nt afford anything decent. It's just a joke to even think that going into science is a good idea if you're smart.

This was probably 28-30 men and women that I talked to in total. Maybe 18-20 were science people.

>graduated with 3.5+ GPA from top 20 engineering program
>hired at 70K starting as expat by cool company doing cool things in a cool different country maybe(ME in germany/EE in west coast USA/BIOE in Boston etc)
>meet smart foreign qt3.141 that thinks you're a qt too and isn't a dumb whore
>do cool R&D shit at work
>do cool shit in your garage(build rockets/power suits/nuclear reactors, no big deal)
>eventually marry qt and have x kids and raise them to be smarter than you
>make equivalent of $125,000 today by 40, annually
>live cool life doing cool things
>die
>be put into cryo-chamber that you were building in your garage the entire time
>forever cool

what a meme pencil

>scratchiness
That's because by design, it makes you use the sharpest point at all times, which is not something that you need and ends up making the pencil less reliable, more wobbly, more likely to break graphite, and just more complicated for no fucking real use.

That's why OP has Pentel. They're classic, Japanese-made automatics that have been around since 1962 that you can find at any brick & mortar store with the accompanying erasers/graphite and won't EVER break unless you do something like the Rotring-anon did and drop it on it's tip onto a hard surface at a weird angle from high enough.

If you bought the Pentel Graphgear 1000, then you can have that retractable tip and not worry about it. Who knows how reliable that mechanism is, though. Even on expensive automatics, they seem to always break sooner or later.

Pentel is the only writing instrument manufacturer to receive the prestigious Deming Prize for manufacturing excellence, for what it's worth.

>tfw selling Pentel automatics to anons on /sci/ at midnight

So is there an ending beyond this universe or is there no limit on how far it goes beyond this universe?
