More likely he has some obvious red flag when you do a basic background check him or google his name.
Or when he says “132 interviews” he is absolutely terrible at picking jobs to apply to and he was out of his lane.
Jobs based on interviews are totally random though and it is perfectly possible to roll 132 losses in a row vs the other applications.
I’ve had years where I get turned down for everything, just everything, then next year I get 4 offers the same week.
