The hormone used in the commercial production of MJ (and many other similar plants) is a rooting hormone. Its applied to the cut of a new cutting, and its function is to stimulate the cutting to grow roots. It has absolutely no long term effects on the plant and no effects on the stuff you use.

Even if there would be residues of hormones (or hormone-like substances) in the buds, these would be destroyed by the temperatures used.
